Wiring to a Starter Relay
Understanding the Wires
When examining a diagram for wiring to a starter relay, one will find three wires: W, B, and BY. The BY wire is the one that is connected to the starter relay.
Connecting the Wire
To connect the BY wire, simply tie it to the starter relay. This will complete the connection and allow the relay to receive power from the battery.
Additional Tips
* Use a wire that is the appropriate gauge for the application. * Make sure the connection is secure and properly insulated. * Test the connection before starting the engine to ensure it is functioning properly.
